Lesson Cancellation Policy

Please provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a lesson. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will be charged at the full lesson rate.

Assessments

Once your assessment appointment has been confirmed, an invoice will be issued. Full payment is required on or before the assessment date.

Please note that diagnostic reports will only be released once payment has been received in full.

Questionnaires & Background Information

Gathering background information is an important part of the assessment process. This helps me understand individual learning needs and select the most appropriate assessment materials.

Please return the relevant questionnaires within seven days of confirming your booking and, wherever possible, at least one week before the appointment. For bookings made at short notice, an alternative deadline will be agreed.

If essential information has not been received, it may be necessary to postpone the assessment.

Assessment Cancellation & Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or rearrange an assessment, please contact me by email at info@dysl3xia.com as soon as possible.

As assessment appointments require considerable time to be reserved and prepared for, I would appreciate as much notice as possible so that the appointment can be offered to another client.

If you need to reschedule, I will do my best to offer an alternative appointment, subject to availability.

If I need to cancel your assessment, I will offer an alternative date or a full refund of any fees already paid.

Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Assessment Reports

Please allow up to 31 calendar days following the assessment for your diagnostic report to be completed and delivered.

Reports will be released once full payment has been received.

Assessment Requirements

Before an assessment can take place, the relevant background questionnaires and visual difficulties screening form must be completed. Parent and school questionnaires will also be required where appropriate.

As part of my current assessment policy, a sight test conducted within the previous 12 months is required.

If any essential documentation is missing, or further information is needed, the appointment may have to be postponed.
