At dysl3xia we provide individualised learning programmes, one-to-one literacy and maths support, dyslexia screening, and full diagnostic assessments, which can be used for access arrangements, in English for the community within Mallorca.
Full Diagnosis
A comprehensive assessment to fully diagnose dyslexia should take approximately 3-4 hours. Prior to the assessment, you will be sent some forms to gather background information, which will need to be sent with full payment in advance. Following an interview, students will be required to complete a number of tests, which most enjoy.

Qualitative information from individuals, and possibly parents, teachers, and schools, provides important evidence, to support a diagnosis and give greater depth to a report. Subsequently, a full report will be provided, usually within 2-4 weeks, that outlines the strengths and weaknesses of the individual, with recommendations to help alleviate some of the difficulties that are encountered. If substantial difficulties are evident, these may be used to recommend access requirements in formal examinations schools, e.g. extra time, a reader, and/or a scribe.
Screening
This process allows analysis of the exact nature of any literacy difficulties that an individual is encountering and enables a systematic one-to-one intervention to be developed to support anyone who is struggling with reading and/or writing.

A short report can be generated outlining some of the findings, if required.
Re-Education
Following literacy screening and /or a dyslexia diagnosis, it is recommended that the individual with difficulties that have been highlighted, are supported with a re-education programme that is multi-sensory and personally tailored to meet their needs.

My interventions are well-structured, sequential, and cumulative with multisensory tuition to support learners with dyslexia and their co-occurring difficulties. I am able to use phonological, morphological, and orthographical awareness to support literacy development, which can help these learners to grasp word and spelling concepts more easily.
If school materials are provided in advance, where significant difficulties arise in particular curriculum areas, it is also possible for me to develop strategies and resources to assist the learning process and provide support in subject-specific areas.
Exam Access Arangements
We can undertake testing to facilitate Exam Access Arrangements in conjunction with schools to ensure a fair and inclusive testing environment for all students in examinations.

The school will need to send us a completed Form 8, outlining your child´s normal way of working, so we can determine which tests will be required to support your child´s needs. Recommendations usually include extra time, but may also suggets separate rooms, assistive technology, and other accommodations tailored to meet individual requirements. Our goal is to empower students to demonstrate their true abilities and reach their full potential during examinations, adhering to regulatory standards.
