Anita Vince

Having been involved in education since graduating with a Bachelor of Education degree from Exeter University in 1994, being a teacher in such diverse locations as inner London, New Zealand and now Mallorca has provided me with a wealth of experience and a desire to continue evolving as a professional.

As an educator, the diversity of an individual’s strengths and weaknesses has been a constant source of interest to me, while understanding how to effectively support and remediate those with difficulties has motivated my intrigue, specifically in the fields of dyslexia and literacy. I am able to assess an individual’s needs and find effective strategies to help support memory links and develop areas of weakness, according to specific needs, while also providing a full diagnostic report which can be used for access requirements.

  • Having relocated to beautiful Mallorca with my husband and our three children in 2007, we have enjoyed taking advantage of all the island has to offer. Walking the many trails and tracks of the Tramuntana mountains, and working out at the local gym, whilst trying to improve my golf swing, has made Mallorca the perfect location to combine my love of the outdoors with my passion for teaching.

Through living, teaching, and studying in England, New Zealand, and Spain, I have a wealth of experiences that I am able to draw upon and use to support those with literacy difficulties and dyslexia. Working as a committee member of the Cancer Support Group Mallorca has enabled me to give back to this wonderful and vibrant community, as has to raise money for them through the “Walk the GR221” treks over the past few years.
